For the last nine months (since I had Brady), I have been planning on starting an exercise routine. Joe loves to run and has really focused on his fitness level while he has been in Iraq. The truth is that I have never been good about exercising because I just don’t like it. I like the results and I love the way I feel AFTER, but it’s the BEFORE that gets in the way. I’ll be good for a day or two, but then I have this appointment to go to or this child is sick, or I find any excuse not to exercise. I finally decided that I needed to pay for a gym membership in hopes that I would have more incentive. My kids play soccer through the YMCA, so it was the logical choice because members get a discount on registration fees. I had my first session with a personal trainer last Thursday, and I loved it!!! I have a lot of friends that use the same “Y”, so it will be easy to find a buddy or I’ll most likely run into someone while I’m there. I’m hoping that it will give me a little “me- time”. I left feeling very enthusiastic and eager to start my regular routine. I know will feel better and I might just look a little better when Joe gets home!!!!
